It's been a busy summer and as our industry is constantly evolving, this month it's timely to acknowledge the new laws and policies in effect as of August 14, 2024. You may have heard various news reports about a lawsuit involving the National Association of Realtors and several large national brokerages in recent months. This settlement has led to required changes in the way all brokers and agents share information on the MLS, as well as requiring buyer agency agreements for any potential buyer before touring a property. There is so much more to this of course, and that's where I can help to explain in detail how these changes may affect you or someone you know.
